I am so excited to announce the next sew along!

The Tic Tac Toe Cushion by Blossom Heart Quilts!

This time around we have a gorgeous pattern supplied by Blessington, the parent company of Singer, Husqvana, Pfaff and SO many more amazing brands and, most importantly for us, AccuQuilt.
Blessington are generously providing the prize for this sew along, an AccuQuilt cutter, the A GO! Baby with a Pink Carry Tote Bag, valued at $288!!!

From Blessington about the Tic Tac Toe Cushion Pattern:
The Tic Tac Toe cushion is part of our support for the McGrath Foundation, where Blessington donated $100,000 towards providing Breast Care Nurses. The cushions and the other projects are being donated to hospitals through Blessington. Click Here to read our letter which will further explain our support for the McGrath Foundation and the alternative projects we have running.

My vision for this sew along is to donate as many of The Tic Tac Toe Cushions as possible to the McGrath Foundation through Blessington. Stay tuned for information on how we will do this.

The dates for the sew along will be as follows:

Tuesday 10 – Sunday 15 July – Hunting and Gathering
Time to choose your fabrics, cut your squares and study the pattern. Now is the time to get everything ready.

Monday 16 – Monday 30 July – Sew! Sew! Sew!
Time to sew your cushions up. Get creative with your fabrics, try combinations you wouldn’t have considered otherwise. The instructions are really easy to follow. Once you have finished, be sure to add your photo to the Sew Along album.
I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!!

Tuesday 31 July – Thursday 2 August – Finish Up
Time to put the finishing touches onto your cushion and add the photos to the album to ensure your cushion is ready for judging. Those cushions not in the album will not be eligible.

Friday 3 – Tuesday 7 August – Time to vote!
Blessington are launching a new website for AccuQuilt Australia this month. As such, voting for the sew along winner will be held on the brend new site. The top 12 cushions will be uploaded to the AccuQuilt website and then YOU decide on the final winner.
Please note, something prevents this happening, we will revert to ‘good ol’ facebook’ to run the voting.

I know that this sew along is a little bit outside of the box, but that’s why this is going to be our best sew along yet! If you have any questions, would like to share any tips or trick, or just want to show off your progress, please post it all on the group wall. I can’t wait to see your creations!!

Happy sewing!
